The film, which revolves around two people who fall in love as they cope with tragedy, was shot last summer in New York.
And that’s precisely where the premiere will be, says a source.
Gossip Cop is told that, as of now, the stars will walk the red carpet in New York on March 1.
“Remember Me” opens nationwide on March 12.
Generally, premieres are closer to the film’s release date, but because Pattinson is working on “Bel Ami” in Europe and can’t go back and forth, “Remember Me” will have it’s big red carpet at the same time he’s doing its press junket in the Big Apple.

With 2009 done and dusted its time to look back through the year and give you Fashion Beans’ 5 Best Dressed Men of 2009. To find the Top 5 I have been asking the same question everywhere and to everyone, “Who do you think are the 5 best dressed men of 2009?” I have been planning this article for a while (since early December) and have had a huge response from facebook, twitter and with the street style guys and now that I’ve got everyone’s top 5 I can reveal the winners. Now I know everyone will not agree with the top 5 and will more than likely have a different top 5 depending on your own personal style and taste, but here are the most popular 5 I found from peoples answers.
Now as I said before these aren’t my top 5 these are the ones I found most popular from peoples answers, I look forward to reading you’re opinions and your own top 5.
No.3 – Robert Pattinson
“Up until I was 12 my sisters used to dress me as a girl and introduced me as ‘Claidia’! Twelve was a turning point as I moved to a mixed school and then I became cool and discovered hair gel.” – Robert Pattinson
However, I don’t think the 23-year-old British actor’s hair was the only thing bringing him into the public eye. Besides his rise to fame over the last 12 months in
His style is completely different to most celebs in Hollywood as it is so laid back and clearly adored by the Twilight fans, but fans weren’t the only ones who noticed the fashion sense of Mr Pattinson, as designer Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana revealed in GQ that Robert Pattinson is “Extremely elegant and inspiring, the true essence of a contemporary man.” No wonder he was recently voted GQ’s best dressed British male this year.
Looking at the images above I think he has definitely become a role model to the younger generation who want an edgy and bang on trend style. He dresses his age when in casual situations but can also look very sharp when it comes to public appearances and premieres. I would say that this is the type of guy who probably doesn’t have a stylist on a daily basis which makes his look even better in my eyes. He definitely seems to have effortless cool and a ‘don’t give a f*ck’ attitude which I think works in his own personal look.
For those counting [above] he has hit a lot of the major trends we saw last year on the head with everything from worker boots, chino’s, checked shirts/overshirts and even quilting. I think he knows and follows fashion a little more than he let’s on, but this is a prime example of dressing for YOU and pulling it off. He is never immaculately groomed and his outfits are never precise and carefully thought out, which makes them work.
He feels comfortable and confident in his clothes and I would assume about himself as well. He might be the perfect example of the man making the clothes and not the other way around.
Let’s just say that I am relieved we didn’t have him at number one though!
Rumors are rampant that a production team for Fox 2000’s Depression-era drama “Water for Elephants” will be on campus in June to film scenes for the movie, which centers on a Cornell veterinary student who drops out and joins the circus after his parents are killed.
Pattinson, the 24-year-old British actor who shot to fame portraying brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the blockbuster “Twilight” series, is said to have signed on to play the role of central character Jacob Jankowski.
Cornell University press officer Blaine Friedlander said he was unable to confirm whether the school would be used as a film location.
Bruce Stoff, marketing communications manager for the Ithaca/Tompkins Convention and Visitors Bureau, said it would be a big economic boon for the area if it was.
Stoff is not sure how much filming would take place nor how long it might last, but said his office gladly would work with the studio to help arrange permits and other logistics. His staff does have some experience working with film crews, although most have been of the TV variety, as few big box-office productions have occurred here.

In the meantime they are teasing us and telling us about meeting Rob.
Thanks to Marystat for the translation :))
TOPP met Robert Pattinson
What is it like to meet one of the most popular movie stars?
Friday January 22nd. TOPP reporter Stine Hartman got to chat with a hugely popular teen idol in London.
The 23 years old ”Twilight” favorite, Robert Pattinson, who in a few years have risen from a relatively unknown ”Harry Potter” actor to be mentioned side by side with the biggest stars in Hollywood, is the hot topic at the moment and on Thursday he took time off from his busy day to be interviewed.
Many of you will probably be envious as you now get to hear that we have met the RPattz in person, but we are saving the interview for the next issue of the magazine.
What we now want to hear is how it really was like to meet Robert in real life.
- He is deadly handsome; even though his face almost disappeared in the heavy facial hair he has now. He almost looked like a guy who had lived in the forest for a couple of months, but was still very attractive. He is no diva and seems to be like the guy next door where he sat next to me drinking one diet coke after another, admits Stine to topp.no
At the beginning he seemed very tired. This was after all his only day off for a while now as he goes straight into filming Bel Ami, which premieres next year. But he was able to promise us steamy hot scenes with both Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci, explains Hartmann.
- He wore very casual clothing – woolen sweater, black jeans, sneakers and a cap and didn’t really seem to care that much about fashion. However he could reveal that he did like Marc Jacobs a lot. A plus for me who sat there with my brand new Marc Jacobs! He smiled when I said that I liked Marc Jacobs a lot too, reveals Topps reporter to topp.no
- But unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures of him or ask questions about his private life, but I still managed to pry a couple of things out of him, says Stine.
You can read about if he is a romantic or not and how he picks up a girl in the next issue of Topp…

Jude Law is looking forward to no longer playing Hollywood hearthrobs when he reaches 40.
The 37-year-old actor says he is reaching the end of his screen hunk status and it’s up to younger actors to take over the mantle.
He said: “I think it will be interesting to be old. It involves a lot of possibilities. The future doesn’t frighten me at all. On the contrary, I am looking forward to it.
“If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight. Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. For me it was always a restraint, a restriction.”

I think these are the best dolls that I've seen to date! It REALLY looks like Rob!
The “Twilight” hero will play the role of a Cornell student who drops out of college and runs off to join the circus.
Robert Pattinson’s character is studying veterinary medicine when his parents die. Devastated he drops out of college and joins a circus called Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, where he takes a job as a vet looking after the animals, Variety has revealed.
Witherspoon and Pattinson are definitely on for the film. Irish-American actor Sean Penn is currently in Haiti working on a humanitarian project, and he has yet to confirm whether he will take part.
The movie is set in the Depression, and has the strange title, "Water for Elephants."

Robert Pattinson, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay Z, Chris Martin and Bono were all spotted leaving The London Haiti Telephone event held at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden yesterday. Their spots were all taped prior to the telethon and shown during the live telethon.
We can’t help but think The Sun wanted news about Simon Cowell, wanted news about Robert Pattinson, and, when nothing materialized, decided to throw the two together.
Today came a story (picked up everywhere) claiming Cowell has approached Pattinson “to sign a major record deal,” and that Pattinson “can basically write his own cheque.” What’s more, The Sun insists, Cowell’s offer has triggered a bidding war among record labels for Pattinson’s musical talents.
“Twilight fans are such an excitable bunch I’m wary of even letting this out the bag for fear of the hysteria it will unleash,” the item’s author begins, immediately before stirring the pot with no word from Pattinson’s side or Cowell’s. In fact, the only “source” who does speak supplies the story with an easy exit, saying, “Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star… He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with X Factor and pop.”
Gossip Cop is “a bit wary” of the entire premise. While it’s true that Pattinson enjoys playing music, he’s focused on a skyrocketing career in acting. No one whom Gossip Cop asked about the Cowell rumors said anything to the contrary. Claims that Pattinson is in talks with the X Factor impresario are off base.

EXCLUSIVE. Howard Shore is on board to compose the original score for the third film in the Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Temple Hill Entertainment today confirmed to MovieScore Magazine that the Lord of the Rings composer is going to write the music for the film, following in the footsteps of Carter Burwell (who scored the first film in 2008) and Alexandre Desplat (who wrote the music for the second, New Moon). Shore has begun work, spotting the movie, this week.
Howard Shore is, of course, best known for the Tolkien trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, an epic work that is currently touring the world in concert form, performed live to projection. Shore also recently rescored the Mel Gibson action thriller Edge of Darkness for Warner Bros, replacing John Corigliano. This film is opening in the US next week.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is based on the third novel in the series of four books written by Stephenie Meyer. The film is directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night and Hard Candy), with returning cast members including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone. Summit Entertainment will release the film on June 30."
SO Exciting! I LOVE Howard Shore!! His music is amazing, and if you don't know about him he's written music for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Doubt, Silence of the Lambs, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Fly, That Thing You Do, Gangs of New York, and sooo many other good movies!
“Underneath a flattened university, Maxine Fallon waited. She was crouched in a fetal position and could barely move. In the darkness and during the hectic sounds of the day, through the pain, the hunger and thrist, she prayed that someone would find her. And on the sixth day her prayers were answered, she was found because of a text message from the rubble sent rescuers to her side. Unlike any other event in history, our world has been connected to this tragedy because of technology. Twitter updates, Facebook pages with pictures of the missing and text messages for help. Thistechnology is working right now to connect us, too. At hopeforhaitinow.org, you can donate and you can instantly interact with people in Haiti and anywhere in the globe. Join with those watching and see what they’re saying about something we all care deeply about — helping the Haitian people get back on their feet. Please go to hopeforhaitinow.org. Thank you.”
Robert of course, was just one of the “Twilight” stars to participate in the benefit to help Haiti. Across the pond in L.A, his “New Moon” costars Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick answered calls from people interested in making a donation.
Of course, you might remember a certain someone rocking the vehicle in The Twilight Saga: New Moon - not to mention, the company promoting the XC60 through the "What Drives Edward" contest.
Undoubtedly, the vehicle's involvement with the Twilight saga had to have something to do with its success in sales, right? So, here's a question . . . would you drive a particular model of Volvo because of its inclusion in the Twilight series films? Comment below and let us know!
